ART SALONS
Live | Virtual | Hybrid
Are you a collector or does art intrigue you? Eager to dive deeper into the world of African diasporic art?
Planning a cocktail party, potluck, book club, movie night, reunion—or simply a meaningful evening with friends?
Would you like to organize a regular gathering of associates devoted to serious dialogue about topics, themes and issues in African diasporic art?
Or would you like a one-on-one or small group dialogue about art that intrigues you?
The Answer?
Curate a BAT Salon
A BAT salon is a carefully curated conversation designed around the interests of you and your guests. A salon is a vibrant and spirited conversation about what we are seeing when we look at African diasporic art.
The salon experience is about sharing how Art connects with the world.
Whether we’re diving into your private collection or exploring a tailored theme of your choice, each salon is a rich, visually immersive presentation featuring physical art works and/or museum-quality slides. (And at times, music to deepen the atmosphere.)
Live salons are available in Metro Atlanta
(and select other locations), as well as online.
The Experience:
The salon is developed around your interests: a topic or theme in African diasporic art or sharing of your own collection.
Freedom. Memories. Politics. Identity. Spirituality. Gender. Race. Resistance. World-making. The Future.
These are some of the globally significant themes African diasporic art explores.
Each salon is designed to create space:
For Insight.
For reflection.
For dialogue.
For connection.
Salons last 90 minutes and start at $350 ($300 or further markdown for 2 or more salons)
(The final price is determined by the complexity and
customization of the salon.)
